Hazel Heald was an American horror and weird fiction author from Somerville, Massachusetts. She is best known as a revision client of Lovecraft. Lovecraft revised five of her stories: "The Man of Stone", "Winged Death", "The Horror in the Museum", "Out of the Aeons" and "The Horror in the Burying-Ground".

Relationship with LovecraftEdit

There are few details of her time working with Lovecraft. It is documented that she and Lovecraft began corresponding in 1932, and it is possible they met once in person. Collegue C. M. Eddy stated once that he believed Heald harbored romantic feelings for Lovecraft.
