Lovecraft's works directly. The Lu-Kthu Cycle is a Cthulhu Mythos story cycle created by American author, editor and poet James Ambuehl, with its earliest entry, "Sculpture", appearing in Etchings & Odysseys #5 in October 1984. Several of the stories were compiled in the chapbook collection Correlated Contents in 1998.

The cycle centres on the Outer God Lu-Kthu and the realm of Altuan, a prehistoric island-continent long forgotten in the modern age.
