Nick Mamatas (20 February 1972-present) is an American author and editor of horror, science fiction, fantasy and non-fiction.

The winner of a Bram Stoker award and nominee for both World Fantasy and Hugo awards, Mamatas has written several works in and around the greater Cthulhu Mythos including the novel I Am Providence, an occult murder mystery set around the fictional H. P. Lovecraft-focused 'Summer Tentacular' fan convention.
