The Weird of Avoosl Wuthoqquan was written by Clark Ashton Smith and features the character of the title, one Avoosl Wuthoqquan venturing into Mount Voormithadret where he had the mixed good fortune of meeting many of the local celebrities, most of whom are in surprisingly good moods, given their normally misanthropic demeanours.
