This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. "Xathagorra" is a creature created by Fred C. Adams for his Cthulhu Mythos works.

Overview[]

The son of the Outer God Azathoth, Xathagorra has leathery wings, webbed feet, and an unknown number of tentacles. He is purple in colour. He is stated to live in a "hall on the rim of earth" (EXP: "The Fleece of Yaggar") although given that the material from which this description comes from is intended to be archaic, this is likely more due to the worldview of the times, rather than an actual guide to its location.

Xathagorra may be in the service of the Outer God Shub-Niggurath, although it is equally possible that he is simply willing to perform a favour for one of his father's compatriots (EXP: "The Fleece of Yaggar").
